Britain was the first industrialised country in the world, with its wares being shipped to all four corners of the globe. Whilst much of this industry has now gone, the remnants of its glorious past are dotted all over there here isles. The factories, mines and machines that were once turning endlessly now sit quiet - but the whispers of their past live on.
